Tonight we are about to attempt putting Cam down in his crib, instead of his swing...
I'm already nervous! I've grown accustomed to my full nights sleep, so tonight might be rough! It has to be done, we are going to the family cabin and Camden has to sleep in a pack-n-play, so we thought we would get him started now! Wish us luck! Hopefully he'll surprise us!
Here is a little of what is going on with our little man lately:
This month Camden is all smiles (mostly). Every now and then you can get him to giggle! And every now and then you can get him to frown :( His cries are a lot louder now. No more newborn cries.
He loves bath time! Everything about it, except getting out!
On 5/15/12 Camden had his 2 month check-up!
He did surprisingly well for getting 3 shots and having to drink a yucky fluid!
I was expecting our night to be a lot worse than it was, because everyone kept telling us that babies are horrible the night they get their shots! He wasn't too bad! He did have a fever and we had to give him medicine every 4 hours. Poor kid.
He is now
23" tall
11 lbs. 10 oz.
and a 39 cm. head circumference
(which is only in the 27 percentile)
Thanks Mom & Dad for having small heads!
He also discovered his FEET! He can spend hours staring at his little toes! It's so entertaining to watch! Who knew feet could be so exciting!
Our little boy is getting so big!!
Time flies!
If you are wondering about Cody and I, we are doing great! Cody just started his summer semester at SLCC and I will be going back to work part time the first of June at Great Clips. I'm excited and sad at the same time! It will be nice to have a little change of pace three times a week, but I don't know how I will do being away from Camden! I really haven't spent much time without him since he was born! So help me if I end up missing a major mile stone because I am working! I will cry! This will also mean that I will get to spend a lot less time with Cody, right when he gets home from work I will have to leave. I am just glad that we don't have to get a baby sitter, or put him in daycare while we work! I will definitely miss my little family. But, I really have no complaints!
Life is good.
