36 Weeks!

36 WEEKS DOWN, 4 MORE TO GO!
(I'm actually 38 weeks pregnant now, I am just slacking on the blog writing, and I'm not dressed cute enough to take a new picture)

We've got the nursery put together, the hospital bag is packed, all the baby clothes washed and folded, I've actually stayed caught up on our laundry too (which is a huge deal for me)! Everything is ready to go! Anybody know of a way I can push him out a little sooner?
I AM SO READY FOR HIM TO BE HERE ALREADY!!
I am overly excited to be a mom, extremely nervous and scared, but mostly excited! I am counting down the days! Only 14 more to go! I cannot wait to hold my little teeny-tiny baby in my arms! I already love him so much! (You always hear moms say that, but it is so true, it's honestly unbelievable how much you can love someone you haven't even really gotten the chance to meet yet!)

I also am just ready to not be pregnant anymore! I'm miserably huge and uncomfortable! The heartburn is kicking my butt! (for my pregnant friends; Tums really work! Nothing like some good old flavored chalk!) This past week or so has by far been the worst of my pregnancy. I am not complaining though, I will gladly take being large and in charge over having morning sickness and all the junk in the earlier months of pregnancy, which I somehow steered clear of! Being pregnant is really such a cool experience though! Can you really believe it only takes 9 months to create a BABY! Yes, a little mini human being!

I've made a list of the things I love about being pregnant:
1. Feeling his kicks, it's the coolest thing ever.
2. People have been tipping me more! NO JOKE!
3. Knowing that Cody must really actually love me because I'm expanding like a balloon and he still thinks I'm pretty!
4. I don't have to lift or carry anything over 10 lbs. I picked a good time to move, I didn't have to do anything ;).
5. The looks people give you, sometimes it's pretty funny, it's either the "Holy cow, she's huge!" look. Or the "Ohhh look how cute and pregnant she is" look.
6. Always getting to talk about the baby! "When are you due." "What are you having."
7. Getting back tickles, foot massages, and my hair played with whenever I want by my cute husband! Pretty much just be waited on by him! (I feel that in his mind pregnant people are incapable of doing anything by themselves...I'm going to go ahead and let him keep thinking that!)
8. Thanksgiving and Christmas while pregnant was seriously the best thing ever. I ate for three, not just for two. It was pretty bad! But SO good!
9. Hearing peoples random baby advice (sometimes it's not really something you want to know!)
10. A big belly makes for a great table! You can rest anything on this bad boy!
11. BABY SHOWERS!

Those are just a few. But I am ready for the next step!  It'll be here before I know it! My mother-in-law says babies are easier when they are in your belly! I know she's right...but bring on the challenge! :)
